IBIZA SOUL WEEK 2024 UPDATE

Hi Everyone,

I met with Llum Hotels on Wednesday at The Coral Beach Hotel in Ibiza to hear what they called “solution” to this ongoing nightmare.

It became very apparent to me that this meeting could merely be an exercise for them to have something to say when go through the impending court hearing.

Their “solution” was to offer an alternative date some 3/4 weeks away from the agreed contracted date, which was clearly not an option for us, but I was very repsectful, I listened to what they had to say, I’ve requested all of theses options/suggestions in writing to serve as more evidence that they are withholding our funds. I told them that I’d give them an answer in 24 hours….which I will.

That answer is no, but under instruction from our lawyer, I listened to the offer to keep engaged in the process.

After this decline the next steps are to wait for a court date or a formal reimbursement of our funds in order for them to not incur the additional legal costs surrounding a stance our lawyer believes they cannot defend.

Bat & Wicket were only employed by myself as an agent to handle transactions and transfers, then pass on all monies to me as requested, which I then transferred to The Llum Hotel Group on the dates agreed in the contract. Therefore as the event organiser, ALL requests for refunds need to come to me directly as per the T&C’s on the Bat & Wicket site.

I will of course keep you all updated as this saga goes on but I can now see this reaching a conclusion in the very near future.
